Career Profile:

Dr Dargaville is a member of the Polymer Group (AIBN), and her research interests encompass many areas of organic chemistry, including synthetic methodology, isolation and characterisation by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and related techniques. Previous work has included marine natural product chemistry (PhD work), drug discovery, and characterisation of biological receptor ligands. Current research involves synthesis of high refractive index polymers for application in the semi-conductor industry as photo resist materials for immersion lithography. Methodology includes Michael addition polymerisation of sulphur-containing monomers.
