Career Profile:
Following completion of a trade certificate in sheet metal work I ran my own businesses for many years. These activities included information technology services and light gauge metalwork. I have worked in research and development for The University of Queensland since 1998. I have an active interest in rally cars, mountain bikes and computer gaming.

Roles and Responsibilities:
To maintain complex and sophisticated MR instruments located at St Lucia that involves handling of cryogenic materials as well as monitoring the equipment on a daily basis.  The position will also involve rapid prototyping and development of novel research equipment to assist users, as well as the fabrication of diverse equipment to assist in temporary repairs and maintenance.
