Career Profile:

My research interests are focused on the area of high resolution (micro) magnetic resonance imaging. I am responsible for the administration of the 700 MHz NMR scanner, which includes promoting collaborations in wide areas of microimaging research programs.

Currently, the majority of micro-imaging research is in the field of neuroscience in collaboration with QBI. For example, the study of motor neuron disease and spinal cord injury, mouse brain mapping and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) of neuronal networks.

Other UQ research collaborations include development of a 19F MRI contrast agent (AIBN), HR-MASpectroscopy of the granules of waste water treatment (AWMC). External collaborations include imaging of development mouse heart defects (Victor Chang Institute).

Research Interests :

» micromagnetic resonance imaging, especially related to neuroscience.
