Members of the lab
Greig de Zubicaray
I completed my Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology at UQ in 1995, followed by a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2001. My Ph.D. fMRI experiments were conducted with the
Neuroimaging Research Group at the Institute of Psychiatry, London, UK. Much of my research addresses how fMRI may be used to inform and constrain models of cognitive processes, especially language and memory. Other areas of interest include imaging genetics, disorders of memory and language, such as Alzheimer's disease, neuroimaging methods and neuropsychological assessment.
Katie McMahon
I completed my Ph.D. in MR Physics at UQ in 1999. I'm the principal pulse sequence programmer on the Siemens and Bruker platforms at the Centre for Magnetic Resonance, and responsible for implementing echoplanar imaging (EPI) sequences for fMRI at 3 field strengths: 1.5, 2 and 4 Tesla. I have broad research interests in fMRI, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and sodium imaging.
